I have really dry, dehydrated skin. What product should I use?
Our Coconut Shea Body Butter is a superb moisturizer for those extra dry days. Its is a premium deep hydrating formula of shea butter, organic coconut oil, organic beeswax, almond oil and vitamin E. Use it daily for the best results.
Do Dulce Vida products contain any antioxidants, particularly vitamin E?
Yes, all of our products contain antioxidants and vitamin E, which naturally occur in the oils and butters that we use to formulate our wonderful products. Antioxidants are important in skincare products because they repair sun damage, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and firm up the skin. Antioxidants also have anti-inflammatory properties that reduce acne and promote an even skin tone.
I’m pregnant and/or nursing, are your products safe for me?
We recommend that pregnant and/or nursing women use our Coconut Body Lotion because it does not contain any essential oils. Although our other products onlycontain 0.5% to 1% essential oils, if you are pregnant and/or nursing, it is best to use our Coconut Body lotion that is essential oil free.
Can I use Dulce Vida products on my children and babies?

What is Shea Butter?
Shea butter is extracted from the nuts of a tree found in Africa. It is composed of saturated fatty acids such as palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid as well as a ton of anti-oxidants. Shea butter moisturizes and softens your skin. It is well absorbed by the skin and it prevents and protects chapped and cracked skin. It also reduces irritation and redness of the skin.
Do you test any of your products on animals?
No, we do not test any of our products on animals. We are against animal testing and we proudly support PETA in their ethical treatment of animals.
How can I make sure my Dulce Vida lotions stay fresh?
Keep your products closed when not in use and keep them out of direct sun when possible. Refrigeration is not necessary, but it will certainly prolong the life of the product.
